Hien briefly returns the kiss and parts their lips, but a little on guard since Haiga seems to be very excited. It's not out of self-defense, but a possibility of there being an abrupt second kiss. ]

[ even as he says that - and means it in the way he earnestly means all his apologies - the intense way he stares at hien lacks any hint of regret. it’s really hard to regret kissing the guy you like, after all.

[ though his surprised yelp comes out slightly muffled. he’s not gonna stop hien, but he doesn’t know where to put his hands, so they settle loosely somewhere on hien’s forearms. ]

Technically I did wait months before I kissed you the first time. And now it’s because - I like you a lot and I’m just happy being near you. You make me really… really happy…

[ but overall haiga is more driven by his emotions than his roommate it seems. ]

I think a routine would help so I don’t overthink and attack you with kisses.

I'm used to being ignored or looked over, so others treating me differently won't affect me at all. I probably don't even know their names... so why I should I care about what they think?

... I don't feel lonely, because I'm used to anything and everything being by myself. But you know what I think would be nice? Hugging on the bed and sleeping together.
